Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) owned by the Government of India, is an engineering and manufacturing company based in New Delhi, India. Established in 1964, BHEL is India's largest power plant equipment manufacturer. BHEL’s Tiruchirappalli Unit, from a humble beginning, has grown by leaps and bounds and has been contributing to the BHEL Corporation and to the Nation in a significant manner.

HRDC, BHEL, Trichy organizes/conducts various training programs to enhance the skill and competence of employees towards making BHEL a world-class organization. Its mission is to promote and inculcate value-based culture utilizing the fullest potential of human resources for achieving BHEL's Mission. In addition, HRDC trains thousands of Apprentices every year in various Trades/Disciplines as part of Nation’s Skill India Mission.
