Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Thirumayam

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) owned by the Government of India, is an engineering and manufacturing company based in New Delhi, India. Established in 1964, BHEL is India's largest power plant equipment manufacturer.

Power Plant Piping Unit (PPPU), Thirumayam a new manufacturing unit of BHEL was setup in the year 2011 in Thirumayam, Pudukkottai District, Tamil Nadu. The unit was dedicated to Nation by the then Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Manmohan Singh during August 2013.

Human Resource Management

HRM, BHEL, Thirumayam organizes/conducts various training programs to enhance the skill and competence of employees towards making BHEL a world-class organization. Its mission is to promote and inculcate value-based culture utilizing the fullest potential of human resources for achieving BHEL's Mission.

BHEL - PPPU, Thirumayam engages and trains Apprentices every year in various Trades/Disciplines as part of Nation’s Skill India Mission.
