A chamber below the grate or surrounding a burner, thru which air under pressure is supplied for combustion of the fuel.

Columns

The main column transfer the total load of pressure parts of boiler through ceiling girder and the auxiliary column are designed to transfer the floor load,equipment load and roof structures load.

The ceiling girders along with cross girders and intermediate beams resting on multiple tiers of column pieces support the pressure part components like drum, waterwall, superheaters, reheaters, economizers etc. from the top through hangers and suspensions.

Valves

Valves are mechanical device that controls the flow of liquid, gas & steam in power plant boilers by opening and closing
