Valves Division of BHEL is the only valve manufacturer in India offering a wide range of products.
These products range from conventional gate valves, globe valves, check valves, safety valves, safety relief valves,
silencers, turbine bypass systems, wall blowers, rotary blowers, long retractable soot blowers and oil & gas exploration
equipment like wellheads, trees, etc.,
The division has a pool of experienced technicians who can be deputed to service the supplied equipment.
With such a wide range of products, the expertise of its service technicians is multi-dimensional and
can be used to service not only the equipment supplied by BHEL but also supplied by other OEMs.
Apart from equipment servicing, reconditioning services also are offered on a case-to-case basis.
TESTING SERVICES OFFERED
1. Equipment Testing Services
a. PR2F test facility as per API 6A: The testing facility consists of Blast Proof Environmental Chamber, Pressurization System,
Heating & Cooling Systems, Fluid Filling Stations along with the necessary controls. These controls can be accessed on
a user-friendly Control Panel.
This test facility can be utilized to validate the designs of the equipment by subjecting the equipment to a pre-defined
pressure and temperature cycle for a specified period of time, as stipulated in Annex-F of API 6A.
b. Hydrostatic shell test and seat test facilities: The shell test and seat test facilities can be utilized to subject
the valves to the required test pressures and test the structural integrity of the pressure boundaries and the leak
tightness of the seating areas.
2. Calibration Services: An NABL accredited calibration center is available for calibration of dimensional and angular measurement
instruments and gauges.
